At our events, some encounters are planned out, with the players already contracted to do certain jobs, and some encounters come up over the course of play. We share the Thane’s approved schedule ahead of time, to give players an idea what’s coming.
This event we’d also like to give players an opportunity to add things to the schedule during Free Play* times. The Galloglaigh of Cumhacht na Réige regularly organise a wide variety of events; weddings, picnics, prayer meetings, discussions of arcane lore, and knife fight club, and putting them on the Thane’s schedule will hopefully make it easier for everyone to plan their weekends and ensure good turnouts all round.
Free Play times at A Season of Reinforcement will be:
Friday 11pm – 1am.
Saturday 2pm – 3pm, 7.30pm – 8pm, 11pm – 1am
Sunday 1pm – 2.30pm.
So, if you want to make something cool happen at the next event, just email a brief description of your planned event to info@fiveoaths.com, and let us know when you’d like to run it by 23:59 on Friday May 23rd. In the event of a time clash we’ll reach out to both parties to ask whether you want to run at the same time, and if not, whoever emailed us first will get priority. Events will be added at the discretion of the event team, and as the Thane’s approved schedule is an IC document, any event that the Thane would not allow to happen will not be added.
*Free play time is time in, while there may be some minor monster roles still out there will be no combat encounters or major monster directed plot, it is intended to allow space for player led roleplay and plot activity.
