In the process of working on A Season of Renewal (August 2022), we discovered a few contradictions in how the political and cultural landscape of Uasa had been described across different documents since our game launch in 2019: We’ve made some changes in the Uasa<\/a> description on the main website to better resolve those contradictions and better reflect our goals for Uasa, while leaving the best platform for storytelling and gameplay going forwards.<\/p>\n

The Uasaigh are proud of their homeland\u2019s status as Crown Realm and they prize loyalty above all other virtues. In ancient times the Uasaigh were divided into tribes, but apart from a few holdover traditions the sense of tribal identity has largely died out. The tribes have been replaced by the concept of \u201cdaoine uaisle\u201d or \u201cnoble people\u201d in the old tongue, a name which the Uasaigh use to refer to one another, particularly when in the presence of the Siabhlaigh. In Uasa even the most ruthless criminal considers themselves to be a loyal subject of the R\u00e9ig, it is from this loyalty and duty that the Uasaigh derive their nobility, rather than high birth or valorous conduct.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
